Essential Question One:

What inspired the Colonists to start a revolution?

The Colonists's anger towards Britian's taxes and acts was one inspiration for the American Revolution. There were many taxes and Acts issued on Colonies, such as The Sugar Act, The Stamp, The Townshend Acts, The Quartering Acts, The Tea Act, and The Intolerable Acts. All these taxes were enforced on the Colonies, which angered the colonists very much, these imposed acts caused many disruptions in the colonies agianst Britian, such as The Boston Massacre and Boston Tea Party. All those disturbances enventually led to the American Revoultion! Another inspiration was the fact that the colonies were being ruled by a king 3,000 miles away across the sea, which was completely unreasonable in their eyes.
