The Quartering Acts
The Quartering Act was an act that stated that colonists had to provied housing, a bed, candles, drinks, and anything else needed to a British Soldier.

The Quartering Act, and the Townshend acts both led to the famous Boston Massacre. The Boston Massacre wasn't even a huge Massacre, only 5 people were killed but many were wounded. It was March 5, 1770 and a crowd of angry Patriots were gathered outside the Boston Offical's house and snowballs and ice chunks were being thrown at British Troops. A Redcoat named Hugh White was the first soldier to fire into the crowd. Five people died, the firs men to die was Samuel Maverick and Crispus Attucks

Patriots were the colonists that didn't like the way Britian was running the colonies and hated the taxes imposed on them. "No Taxation Without Represntation" Most Patriots supported the Son's of Liberty and The Daughters of Liberty. Patriots would not buy imported goods from England.

Loyalists:
Loyalists were the colonists that were Loyal to the crown. These colonists supported the British Troops and encouraged the importation of British Goods. Most of the Loyalists were importers. The Loyalist despise the Patriots and Patriots despise the Loyalists.
