The Intolerable Acts

The Intolerable Acts also called the Coersive Acts were isssued as a punishment for the Boston Tea Party. The Intolerable Acts stated that: 

    The port of Boston was closed off until all the tea that was dumped into the Harbor was paid for. 

    The Colonists of Massachusttes were only allowed to have a yearly meeting with governmental permission.

    No custom officals or officers would have their trials in Massachusetts.

    The Quartering Act was issued, it said that the colonists had to give the troops a place to live.
